I now understand why people pay Andrew the big bucks to help them find a good website name! I'm only a few hours into the process and it seems like everything I like is taken (sigh, www.iheartmath.com, you aren't even USING the site!!!

Andrew's suggestion was to check these sites (much better than stumbling into a place like msn.com which was going to charge me about $50 more!)

Lisa's genius idea was to buy www.whenwillieverusethis.com - I am excited but worried about people misspelling it. If I had tons of money I'd buy a bunch of domains and enjoy marketing under all kinds of names.

lisa, should we rename this as "lifemusers" so that the name makes more sense? besides, do we really need an hommage to an old tom cruise movie given how kookie he is? and more so, is this REALLY that risky of a business, changing careers? we should affirm the positive with confidence! no? =)

okay! i am going to be blogging away as the job hunt takes on new dimensions. i have to be honest - i am not satisfied with the blogger format because i want to be able to link and index each post. it seems like the software HAS to have these options, so maybe i just haven't looked hard enough.

Guinea Pigs!!! Oink oink!

I am writing an article to cover this very sad local news event. Earlier this week, King County Animal Control was called in on a home that was literally full of guinea pigs. On there first trip to collect these little ones, they thought there was about 140 guinea pigs running loose in this home, just yesterday when they went back to get the rest of these poor little creatures the number is now in the 300's. The Humane Society is trying to take in as many of these little ones as possible. Several other agencies have also stepped up to help out as well.

So, I am going to foster some little piggies until they can find a happy home! In the meantime I am learnign about the guinea pig subculture. These people love their little "caveys" as they call them!
